Consensus Mechanism
Freedom is Bitsphera's most important principle. We highly believe in a user-owned ecosystem, decided by the players.
Voting against a new activity
Users can vote to cancel any activity on the ecosystem in the following manner: - In a certain time period, immediately after the activity is released on the system. - 1 HPC is deducted from the player participating in the vote.
Counting Votes
Voting will stop automatically as soon as one of the following two conditions is met: a. Voting time expires; b. The amount of HPCs against is one unit greater than the amount of KAT spent to create that activity.
If, at the end of the election, the number of the opposing HPCs is less than the number of initial KATs, the number of opposing HPCs will be transferred to BitSphera's fund and the initial activity will be launched on the system.
As soon as the amount of opposing HPCs is greater than the number of initial KATs by one unit, the activity will be canceled and each voter will receive 1 HPC and 0.75 KAT. 25% of the remaining KAT from the initialization will be transferred to BitSphera's fund.
